my teeth are wearing down/wearing away........i dont purge...so i think its the lack of nutrients/calories???? im so scared to go to the dentist....u cannot tell when i smile that my teeth are suffering...but my back teeth are so worn down......the enamel is wearing away.....it hurts to chew alot of things.........i feel as though i have come too far and that there is no saving myself...even by eating more......

go to the dentist, they might be able to stop the damage and prevent anymore..
Ive always had perfect teeth, but now I have to have a filling :-( ED related ???

There is still the possibility that the wear on your teeth isn't anything to do with your ED. If your molars are becoming worn it may be that you grind your teeth, particularly in your sleep. Do you know if you do this? Is there anyone you can ask? A dentist will be able to recognise the signs. If it is teeth grinding you can be fitted with a protector to prevent further damage. (Be aware that some anti-depressants have teeth grinding as one of their side effects!). If it is enamel erosion due to malnutrition though, again your dentist could suggest treatments. Be sure to be honest about your problems with your dentist though.

Tooth decay can be caused by hogging down on artificial sweeteners and diet pop which I know you do! Even diet pop is very acidic to tooth enamel. But molars can be fixed. So just GO Dammit!

I had perfect teeth (aside from their crookedness) until I got really sick in my ED and yes, not eating can cause tooth decay not only because of malnutrition but because you don't use your tooth enough to chew. I'd go to the dentist, I know it's scary but it needs to be done.

All I can say is "the dentist is calling you!!!"
My teeth arent doing that I go see a dentist evey two months, and also, are you brushing them? And like beiceth said. Soda is bad!!!

honey you are so young ! you can reverse a lot of this and get better...

but you have to feed your body...

dont look for reason to stay sick...

I got a $20 night guard at wal-mart...I cracked a tooth I used to grind them so hard.....It may be ED related or it may not be...go to the dentist..if you really don't want to..get the night guard and try it for a week and see if it helps.

1) my dentist told me i must grind my teeth the last time i was there so i got a mouth guard which i wear every other night cuz i wear my clear retainer every other night to keep my teeth straight
2) uh of course i fucking brush my teeth! i floss everynight too! thanks for ur concern but im not a fucking gross non brusher!
3) will insurance cover getting teeth capped if the dentist deems it necessary?
