Welcome here. It's great that you are aware of the effect of the new medication and also the obsessive thoughts about weight and the ED etc.
Try, if you can, to make healing and recovery choices not based on your current feelings which understandably are challenging at the moment. Even write out some simple, achievable healing goals for each day and put on your fridge, e.g. I will eat regular healthy and nourishing meals today regardless of the feelings, or something similar.
This type of process often helps us when in this space to make wise decisions rather than just ones based on current feelings, which may or may not be accurate or reliable.
I've learnt a lot of these types of processes and tools from DBT websites of which there are many great ones online. I've learnt when the ED is screaming at me to ask how can I respond in a way that supports my healing and recovery and doesn't make my current situation any worse. Losing weight and going down into the ED ultimately always ends up in a bad, hurtful place eh.
Take care and keep posting.... Kim xx
I used to be very active on this site a few years ago, but then things started becoming triggering so I left. I'm hoping to become active here again!
