I have severe PTSD and OCD. I also experience hallucinations (auditory and tactile) which frequently insist that I abstain from things that I enjoy. I will often "give in" or agree to skipping a meal or two rather than deal with the negative repercussions.
Othertimes I will have to walk 10,000 or 20,000 steps as penence for messing something up or not doing my part.
I am currently 20 lbs. overweight and have had a history of weight related concerns throughout my life (including being a chubby lil queer kid who constantly got bullied.)
I know that I have been experiencing many symptoms which are often related to psychosis, but I often wonder if I have an eating disorder as well.
Are my eating issues usually seen as part of a larger mental disorder or would I also potentially be diagnosed with an eating disorder?
