You STILL need food. If you don't eat your body will eventually shut down and rather quickly.
It is considered restricting speaking physically.
You need to start slowly with eating. Also, your stomach needs to get used to food. So liquids are good. Smoothies with lots of nutrients are a good thing - easier to digest than eating the fruit whole. While you may hate them Ensure or Boost are good supplements. Also, if you're going to eat whole food make sure it is easy to digest. Things that contain alot of fiber, while normally a good thing, causes the body to digest it very slowly. And it will make you really uncomfortable. Google lists of easily digesting foods.
But PLEASE eat.
Keep the meals light. But eat small things more frequently. A handful of almonds with a couple tablespoons of yogurt. An apple with some cottage cheese. Just don't eat too much at once...otherwise, you could feel like you're having a heart attack. Small portions...just more frequently. :)
