Hi guys. I've been bulimic for four years. I've been seeing my doctor lots now and he specifically told me that if my stool is ever a black colour to call him. (i'm sorry if this is gross) I'm going to see him either way to make sure its all ok. But he told me black stool could be caused from GI bleeding. But i know iron supplements which i am taking could also cause this. Just wondering if anyone has tried palafer and has experienced this too? Its a red capsule iron supplement.

Have you Google-d the side effects of this drug? I've taken similar to this but by different name - in NZ called something else but is basically the same formulation. I've only experienced irregularity because of it, but not what you mention.
Due to the bulimia, probably best to seek medical opinion on this development.
