I fainted again today, my tutor came past and she came to see me and she said if I won't eat anything she's going to bring me a sandwich and make me sit in the bio lab with her and she's not going to let me leave until i eat it, and to quote her directly"don't think I won't because I will" I do luv her, she's helped me so much, she's awesome but ahhh she's going to force feed me,
ALSO seeing as I'm sharing a few weeks ago, a friend, well acquittance we used to be closer than we are now, anyway I was talking to my tuor about fainting the other day and she was standing near by, she comes up to me and says, if it helps, I'm anorexic, i mean i know she's thin but i though that was because she's always doing loads of exercise, I was so shocked, I had no idea, you would think someone with experience would be able to spot something like this... i don't know how to help her, I don't know if she's recovering, or not or whatever, I think I'll mention im worried about her to our tutor and she can ask her about it...advice opinions..?

well im a "recovering" anorexic and its difficult talking to people about it by the sounds of it shes on the recovery if she is able to tell you about it. try talking to her about it she might find it hard talking to you but will appreciate you making the first move.

I don't think she would have said that if she wasn't recovering or getting some kind of help. By telling you I guess she's left it open for you to talk directly to her about it.

My friend used to force feed me and wouldn't let me go until she was satisfied with how much i had eaten...the amount of times i have heard "don't think i won't because i will" is increadible...she always stick to her word and sits with me until i have finished...even if i was there for a few hrs (it took me 2hrs 2 eet the 1s) but if she didn't i wouldn't eat!! as annoying as it seems its the best thing that they can do...she only cares and if it makes you eat then its worth it!!! Hope things get better xxxx

It's obvious your tutor cares about it very much, but forcing you to eat is not really the thing you need. I hope you are seeing a doctor and therapist. That doesn't mean that you can still confide in your tutor but she is not a proffesional. Before you mention your friend to her I would ask your friend if she is in recovery, if she is seeking help already and then you can mention that you talk to your tutor a lot and she is more than welcome to join you guys.
