or any other name that you might chose to call yourself?
isn't it sad that we say and/or think things about and to ourselves we would never dream of saying and/or thinking about or to a friend.(and yes i'm sad to say i'm guilty of it too.)
my counselor got me to do this exercise
hypothetically, if it was a friend you were discussing here how would you have worded it?
even during my stronger moments i have an continual argument going on in my head (don't i sound so sane right now...not...lol) telling my "dark self" to back off.
i'm packing right now to go back home and visit the family for a long weekend and tying my self up in knotts trying on clothes and hating what i see in the mirror even though i should be happy coz i have managed to lose 7 kg this month so far.
so i'm sure you can imagine the wonderfull things i've just been saying to myself. i'm trying so hard right now to stay out of the fridge.
i'm trying so hard to win this argument.
sorry, i have a bad habit of playing the "over bearing mum" card when someone is having trouble, my intentions were only good.
but maybe this could be a good motivation for you to get to a gym? I don't know, it works for me sometimes, and I tend to feel better after I jog for 30 min or so. you gotta keep it up tho, 3-4 times a week, don't give up~! =)
hope your appointment with the new doctor goes well.
alliegator, are you feeling any better today?
oh and yes i did manage to stay out of the fridge last night, so thanks for listening
