A few months ago I was at a stable weight but just as miserable. I totally relate to your desire to be able to cope with something other than food. But at the same time I am petrified to let it go. I have coped with food for six years and I have no idea what I did before than, I was only a child. I feel like I still am because I haven't learned how to cope and grow up.
And then I tell myself I have these goals (I even put them as goals on this site) but deep down I don't really try to achieve them. In order to get better, you really have to want to. And it is so hard to want to when ED has been part of your life for so long.
