it's good you're dad is cooking, eat something healthy to fill up so you won't want to binge. then have something very small, like maybe ONE cookie, to take the edge off the craving. then distract yourself. im very proud of you for eating right the last few days. good luck, and if you need to talk i'm here for you. :)
You're not alone in having those cravings, or in going out of your way to satisfy them. (When my binging got really bad, I would go to 3 or 4 different convenience stores or takeout places on my way home so that no one would see how much food I was buying. And the humiliating thing was, the clerks all started to recognize me anyway. It was miserable.)
Do healthier sweet foods take the edge off at all? Like fresh fruit or yogurt, whatever isn't a binge trigger for you?
Also, when I'm having a lousy day, my ED tries to say, "I'm having a lousy day, so I deserve cookies to make myself feel better." But no amount of cookies make me feel better. Just sick and angry at myself.
You dont have to give in!!
I commend you for reaching out!!
YOu can get through it!
