First off, DON'T purge!! It's a very dangerous thing to do, and once you start it becomes hard to stop. Don't try to starve yourself. Choose healthy foods and eat reasonable /small portions. Have lots of vegetables, fruits and lean protein. Grains. Get regular exercise. It will make you feel better, physically and mentally.
I also weigh 160, and I'm only just under 5' tall. I'm down from 210, and aiming for 120. The above method is how I'm getting there.
Keep posting, and let me know if you want to talk. I care.
When I get pissed off I have learned to go out and walk it off. BUT confront the issue with your dad. Let him know what he did impacted you. How will he ever know and change if he isn't told by you personally? AND if that doesn't stop the comments you may need to get some other family involved because that is straight up verbal abuse.
I don't even know you, not on a personal level. However, I can tell you that you are wonderful and nobody else in the world is able to be the unique person you are. Wear that with pride.
I remember trying to purge the first time. My personal form of purge is exercising excessively. Try to calm yourself down and think if the problem fits the reaction appropriately?
Will purging your food really make you who you want to be? Does it make you feel good-or help your body be healthy? Really think about that. Okay?
Best wishes,
Jolynne
I feel the same way; even when I weighed 90 lbs, I felt I was fat. I have NEVER been happy with my body image. I know it's not ALL her fault, but she was a contributor.
