I preface this with that I am not an expert on dyslexia! However I can certainly sympathize with your situation, as I have experienced many of the same symptoms.
To answer some of your questions:
1) It's never too late to get treated!
4) I personally have had issues with math also. I struggled in certain types of math like trigonometry, but excelled in calculus. I also accomplished solutions in a different manner than my classmates, because I looked at the equations from a different perspective.
6) Yes! I have experienced this my whole life and not understood until a professor approached me about dyslexia. I get frustrated that I'm unable to communicate my thoughts and feelings, but with some patience...I've been able to improve on this.

8) This is the first symptoms that I displayed for dyslexia. This made me shy and afraid to speak in front of my classmate (I would spend a lot of time practicing speeches and anytime a teacher called on me to speak, I would get anxious). It additionally affected my ability to learn a foreign language because I couldn't sound out the words like other people.
