Becoming and 'instant mom' is really a huge adjustment. There is so much to do for the children and very time consuming. But you must remember to take time for yourself each day. Exercise, stop eating unhealthy snacks, shower or take a bubble bath and just be alone at some point during your day. Let everyone around you know and that this is your time and you need it. The weight gain could be from the slow down in your life. When we are more settled and home instead of running around constantly, most of us tend to gain weight. You will have to work out a schedule that works for you as well as the children and your fiance. Don't let yourself get lost while caring for everyone else. They will appreciate you more!

I am in the same boat. I used to be only 47kg. Now I am 57kg. I can't seem to get rid of the excess weight. I used to go out and have fun till late at night. Now I feel that all the fun has been taken away from me. :( Pretty soon my husband will be attending school and we will spend lesser time together. I guess we both just have to hang in there and hope for the best. This too shall pass.....
