I don't if any of the old timers from the early days are still on here but I said I'd post anyway. One of the early church but rubbers mymeg ( Karen) passed away two days ago suddenly. She was mom to Meg a wonderful girl just through her second cancer fight . It's horrible her mother was snatched from her so suddenly. Anyway those of us who remembet Karen know what a great person she was . We grow apart but keep an eye on each other from afar . She was part of a very active group of people on here for a while and it really was a great group of people. Anyway just wanted to let everyone know we had lost Karen. She was a fantastic support and she will be sorely missed . RIP Karen x

Oh that is sad news. It is very hard on special needs children when they loose somebody, oh and especially their mom. In a way I am praying that my son goes before me, because I know how difficult it would be on him. We lost his granny 8 years ago and he talks to her daily, he talks like it just happened; I can not even say that I have a headache and he kinda freaks. So sad to know, hope she has somebody that can take care of her and get her thru the hard time. Thanks for letting us know :(

Katie, I was one of the old-timers as well. I don't get on here often at all, but decided to check in today. I'm so sorry about Karen. How old is Meg now, do you know?
One of my worst fears is that I will pass before I have my son's future plans settled. There is so much that I do for him that nobody else has a clue about. (SSI,medicaid, other programs I deal with). It's so scary to think about the future.
