This group is called "Don't Give Up." Of all the stories you have read, who are some of the people that have really inspired you to keep on? There are two people that come to mind for me.
1. Helen Keller - She lost her sight and hearing after an illness when she was very young. She was still able to earn a college degree, and become a motivational speaker.

2. Joni Eareckson Tada - She became paralyzed from the neck down after a diving accident. She is an author and an artist. I seem to remember a picture of her with a paintbrush in her mouth. When I looked her up again just now, I find that she has breast cancer.

2nd. MY DAD.. He was born in 1906. (He was in his 50's when I was born)..He grew up during the Depression and went from his family having a lot to not much. His parents were sick and he left school to work at any job he could find to provide for his parents. He told of standing in lines for ANY work all day long over and over. Some days there was nothing after waiting all day for for work and they went hungry. He never gave up. They got through it. He took care of his parents as best he could, even though he was so young. He then went on to go back to school.. became very successful and taught me that quitters never win, and winners never quit.
