In our retirement building I met a woman who was a young child in the camps. When the war ended she was 12 and weighed 60 lbs. when released. SIXTY pounds. She went on to marry and have four children, despite the malnutrition she had suffered around puberty. One of her children died, but the other three survived healthy. God bless her!
