I've been threw a lot
just like we all have
I have survived sexual abuse
From my sister and my cousin too
But sadly it doesn't stop there
Domestic violence i fell a victim of
I always though that pain equaled love
At least that's what my family has always thought me
And although he beat me and forced me to do things
I still called him my baby
Because we would say those three words to me
Baby i'm sorry and that word i never heard
I love you
What is love to me
To be held down and used as they please
And when they are done it's always those words
I love you
As i lay naked and left dead
So i take the razor and press it against my arm
The blood falling tells me i'm still alive
Why does this always happen to me
I'm always a victim in some sick guys fantasy
Maybe that's all i'm good for
Maybe this is all life has for me
To be used and abused
By who ever pleases
just like we all have

I am no longer in the abusive relationship but i am still dealing with my cousin :-/
That's a great idea to volunteer i love kids and would love to find a way to work with them and help
My mind has a hard time staying focus on reading my mind wonders

Now this is going to sound silly when I get done explaining, but bare with me. I am not Christain, I was raised with Scientology. That said, I truely belief that you will find a LOT of healing power by actually going to a church. The emotional stregnth you can find there is amazing. It is a hard habit to start, but once you get used to doing it every week, it will get easier. Also remember, not all churches are the same. You can go to one and come just sort of ok, but go to a different one and come out feeling truely ALIVE. You have to try on churches and find the right one. I think that if you do that, you will go a long way towards healing.
