I like that, Shadow! We played that one time at a party, and I had Shelly Fabre(sp?) on my back b/c I had the big curly hair and the hostess thought I looked like her. Ha! I think we might do this one too...it's a great icebreaker! Thank you!
Pass around a ball of twine and a pair of scissors. Everyone cuts off the length that they think will fit around the mother's waist. Whoever comes the closest without going over wins. The mom will hate you, but it's pretty fun.
THe only baby shower I went to was my own, but here's what we did. Everyone got favors of blocks and tiny plastic babies. Games were -- 1) Guess, in inches, my baby bump 2) blindfolded taste-testing of baby food and trying to guess the flavors 3) Who knew the most facts about babies. For this we divided into teams. One hard q was when the kneecaps form. I can't remember the others. Have fun!
