trouble agreeing on dogs

Anyone have trouble with their significant other on how to train, discipline or solve bad behavior? Since we got our 2nd dog they have been completely destroying everything and he says its cause they are young dogs and gives them rawhides to chew on. Yet when I was in the bedroom and he was gone yesterday all they did was bark over the treat despite they each had their own. I wanted to buy toys that can occupy their mind but he doesn't seem to care and it won't help. I'm not sure what to do because though we are together these dogs were meant for him. Thanks!

hello YES WE ALL CAN DISAGREE, WHAT MATTERS IS THAT THE PETS LEARN TO BEHAVE AND THAT IS YOUR JOB TO TRAIN THE DOGS, I HAVE MY DAUGHTER DOG HERE ALL DAY AND SHE CAN BE VERY BOSSY AND BULLY TOWARDS MY CHARLIE, SO I TELL HER OFF AND SHE HAS TO GO IN HER BOX ,ITS A CARRIER WHICH DOUBLES AS A BED, I HAVE TO BE HARD WITH HER, ITS HARD AND TIRING SO I HAVE TO PERSIST ,WE ALL LOVE HER BUT SHE IS VERY BOSSY..LOOK SEE A DOG BEHAVIOUR EXPERT, OR READ ONLONE, BUT GET TOGHETHER AND AGREE ON DISCIPLIN ,IT IS BETTER, SPOILING IS NOT GOING TO HELP, AND TAKE THE CHEWS AWAY WHEN THEY FIGHT, TALKING TO THEM AND SHOWING THEM THAT YOU ARE DOING SO BECAUSE THEY FIGHT, BE FIRM, IT HAS HELPED MINE..BEST WISHES, LOVE LUCY***

I can't imagine dealing with an ex on dogs. My ex claimed he wanted joint custody of our Buttercup - he lasted one day and Buttercup came back to me. She was a very sweet and loving dog,but had medical issues and he just wasn't willing to deal with that. His loss.

Re dog toys - that can help but training is the key. I know that our Family Court Services has dealt before with dog cases but I don't know about your court.

Dogs are like children; they need consistent discipline.
