Heartworn Medication

With Heartworm season coming up soon. How many of you put your dogs on the treatment? What brand name do you use for your dog. And how many months do you give it to them? Do you have their blood work done every year?

My dog Skip is on the Brand named "Interceptor White". Each tab tablet contains 23mg of milbemycin oxime. This is for dogs weighing over 50 lbs. He takes it from June to November.

Let's see how many brands are out there.

Is that an over the counter or perscription brand?
They take heart worm plus year round (skipped a month or two when the snow was deep). Yearly check ups ya.
