Hi I'm new to this group and didn't know there was support out there for vertigo it started with me years ago in bouts in 29 and up until recently it's come back really bad It staerted again wen I was 19 weeks pregnant and it was OK after I give birth my sons now nine months old and it's really bad I can't do anything I'm bed ridden I can't read I've been given loads of different medication scoperderm patches bucca tablets, sturgeon and find that nothing helps I've got an epli minover on Friday but worried I can't go the docs to have it done Its worse wen I close my eyes It gets worse it's making my life hell I feel like I'm.guna throw up all the time I can't eat I also suffer from anxiety panic attacks and asthma I was wondering does anyone know if anything does work and if there is hope

Hello! I'm new to this site and gladly into this group as well. I was diagnosed with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo! This feeling of sensation makes me feel bad every time I had an attack. Every time I had a bad sensation, i usually lay in bed in elevated position , not flat because you tend to throw up! I can't close my eyes because I usually tend to swing. I usually look one corner tried to gaze it straight with my eyes open till my brain tells me I'm fine. Ginger tea helps me to calm my nausea and my anxiety! I usually take meclizine instantly just to stop the sensation. After a day or two, when I'm feeling good... I have to do some Brandth Daroff exercise which helps me a lot' . Get well soon Lexi.

Ah thank you that was really sweet of you to reply I feel excakly the same the swinging sensation
I didn't have the epli minover Cus the docs just said wait for ENT clinic so I'm waiting for it on Tues I'm sick of it I'm struggling to cope but I'll ask the docs about that medication hopefully it's available in the UK xxx

I'm stuck in the house for two days news dealing with Vertigo. Im afraid to drive because I'm still feeling a bit the sensation. Some of my readings suggest to eat a lot of Magnessium rich food which really helps. Hope you'll be fine sooner.

I didn't realise you could drive if u have vertigo :/ mine hasn't gone away hope u feel better urself soon
