Dizziness is the sensation of instability. Vertigo refers to dizziness with a sensation of motion. Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. After five months of therapy it's been confirmed that BPPV causes my vertigo. I test positive on Epley and then after doing it for a few times the vertigo leaves.
But then a few weeks later, I'll feel this weird twitch in my head and then feel really dizzy. I'll do Epley a few times and it will go away.
Everyone keeps saying there's no such thing as recurrent BPPV, but it seems to be the case for me.

It does exist and I hope if you went to an occupational therapist they told you that.
I tried the epley maneuver but they didn't really trigger my dizziness. :-(
My aunt first came upon this about a yr ago she was having episodes as well.
It fixes her dizzyness but may last a few weeks or mos at a time.
