Reassurrance

Hello I am new to this group and would like some reassurance. I have been dealing with dizziness/spinning and my eyes felt like they were constantly moving since November 2017. I have been to the doctors 3 times and the ER once on my birthday last January. Each time my nuerological signs are good and the CT scan from my ER visit was clear. Finally my third visit just before Christmas the doctor gave some vertigo exercises and seems to be helping my eyes which don’t feel like they are tired/moving all the time.  But I still get sensations of dizziness here and there. Definitely not like when this first started where I felt like I had brain fog and trouble finding the right words sometimes. 


I guess I just would like to know should I be cleared up after 3 weeks of these exercises or will it take awhile yet. It’s scary thinking maybe the doctors are missing something.

Did the neurologist do any blood tests? Maybe some autoimmune disease? Did you get your hearing checked? Rule out Mennieres Disease? Wishing you well. Vertigo really sucks.

Hi there. Were you given any diagnosis? Also, are you taking any meds for this?

I actually started seeing a chiropractor at the end of January and so far my symptoms are getting much better. Every now and then I feel a little off, but I notice it’s on certain lighting or when I turn my head to much. Hopefully I continue to have no symptoms.

I'm still hestitant because I am afraid it will hit me at any moment, but I am getting more and more confident that I am hopefully getting better.

Mama G- I’ve been in 4 times since Nov 2017 and my neurological exam comes back really good and the CT done in Jan. 2018 was fine. So they haven’t done any bloodwork or more extensive testing. Finally starting to feel more like myself, but still scared that it could hit me again at anytime.

Hi Brek,

Any chance of an update on how you're doing? Also, I'd be interested in knowing what is working for you?

I'm knew to this whole dizzy experience and need some advice/encouragement on what might work and what I can expect.

I’m still doing good and still going to my Chiropractor. I do notice dizziness/vertigo when my sinuses are acting up or that time of the month for me, but I am feeling more normal than I did this time last year. My biggest thing is not panicking if I feel an episode coming on because that seems to amplify my symptoms. Just taking time for myself because stress is also a factor. Stay positive even when it’s hard to do.
