Dizziness & Vertigo Support Group
Dizziness is the sensation of instability. Vertigo refers to dizziness with a sensation of motion. Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. If you are a frequent sufferer of dizziness or vertigo, join the group and find support.

I have thought one that maybe my mind played tricks on me and I could feel the earths rotation and pull.
That was debunked when I started meeting people like me. The doctors admit all the time that vestibular nerve issues are the hardest to diagnose and treat.
Don't be too hard on yourself, it also depends on the type of doctors you have treating you too.
i did better with ginger pills and gingerale for motion sickness on boats as adult.
my mom had taught me to look at the verizon b/c of inner ear balance, when traveling.
now 50 years later, just got out of ER , again.......for severe vertigo. Thank God it is not every day but as the years go by , the episodes are worse.
years ago, i also wondered it is was anxiety etc.
now, i am sure it is not.
as Ladyabug said, when i wake up with severe vertigo , i cannot imagine it being from anxiety when i sleeping happily.
