Dizziness & Vertigo Support Group
Dizziness is the sensation of instability. Vertigo refers to dizziness with a sensation of motion. Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. If you are a frequent sufferer of dizziness or vertigo, join the group and find support.
Diving: step off the diving board and fall straight into the water. The fact that you're brave enough to show up for that means you win.
Swimming: Find a way to complete one lap. Doggie paddle, float on your back, use arm floaties. First three done get medals.
Gymnastics: Take a 30 minute shower.
Volleyball: sit on the ground and roll the ball back and forth. Making it move too fast for your opponent to follow is a violation. If you send them a legal, slow-moving pass, and they fail to stop it from rolling past their knees, you get a point.
Rowing: are you kidding? You get a medal if you're brave enough to write your name on the sign-up sheet.
Ping Pong: stand face to face with an opponent and share a contest of witty comebacks. The first who fails to think of an insult within 5 seconds gives up a point.
Basketball: Throw the ball from wherever you happen to be standing when you catch it. If the ball remains in bounds when it lands, you get a point.
