Not sure what's going on

Hi,
My problems usually have to do with gastritis, but a few days ago something new happened. I was just about to get into the shower when out of nowhere I got this terrible dizzy spell. I layed down for awhile but it didn't get any better. Went to the doctor and my white count was 13,000 so my doc said I had an inner ear infection and gave me antibiotics and a patch. Went back two days later and my white count was down to 9,900. He felt it was working. But the diz and vert where still there so he gave me some pills and they don't seem to be working.

Laying down I feel o.k. but if I turn my head I get the dizz. If I look at stuff it looks like it's moving. When I walk I'm off balance

What I wondering is do any of you experience this dizziness and vertigo constantly. For me this is not come and go, I am afraid to drive.

Sorry about being so long, I just feel so strange and it came out of nowhere.

I am not dizzy all the time. However, when I had a dizzy spell last year, it was all the time for a few wks and then it got better. Since you are dizzy when you turn your head, I think you need an appt with an ENT or someone who can do an Epley procedure for you. This is where they turn your head to make you dizzy and it is supposed to help. Google it.....they can explain it better than I can. I would start with that though.

I am sorry you are suffering with this. It is so unpleasant. My vertigo came out of nowhere when I was under alot of stress due to my mom's illness and being in a skilled nursing facility. I had my vertigo for a month straight and didn't go to work for a couple of weeks.

Now it is off and on and I am still being tested to find out what is wrong I had an MRI and will be discussing those results with my neurologist next week. I am hoping you feel better soon.

Thank you so much for your reply's LauraT123 and kahjee. My doctor said he would send me to a ENT if I was not better in a week. It seems like this thing comes on suddenly and when folks are under a lot stress. I hate that other people are going through this but I'm revealed not to be alone. It's hard for anyone to understand this if they have not experienced it.

Hope you all are doing well and kahjee please post when you get your MRI back.
