I have not had any luck and I have had about 3 or 4 different doctors try it. A neurologist, an ENT, a regular physician and a physical therapist. My understanding is that a chiropractor would only help if it has something to do with your neck that would cause the dizziness. Like something being pinched, loss of blood flow.

I personally go to a massage therapist and find that it has been helping my vertigo... I was told by my regular doctor that going to a chiropractor would be a bad Idea, however, my boss who had vertigo a few years ago had great luck with a chiropractor.

I unfortunately have 2 things that cause my dizziness. However, let's talk about Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) movement of crystals in the ear. This was easily diagnosed by an ENT consultant. My GP had no idea for 18 months (sigh). Anyway, the ENT consultant cured this with Epley Maneuver and it lasts about 6 months to a year for me. Others it can be permanently cured. Also it's usually in one ear so you need to find out which one is causing the problem. The good news is once practiced you can simply do it yourself if it comes back. Also there is a company that has a device called Dizzy Fix you can buy to make it easier to perform the exercise. Also look on YouTube to see how to do Epley yourself. Hope that helps.... Eric

I don't have any experience with a chiropractor but I know they do more in the way of aliment so I would think either an ENT or any physician with experience preforming the Epley would work best for anyone looking to have it done. It can be very helpful especially for positional vertigo that is caused by loose crystals. Not everyone has the same positive experience though. Each case is always slightly different. But if your dealing with vertigo it's worth a shot. I've heard of the dizzy fix but don't know anyone who has used it. There is also a product called a simbalance system that is designed to help with positional vertigo as well. It was recommended to me by friend who had chronic bppv and loved it. It has made a huge difference. No issues since using it.It can be used two ways, one to help preform the epley yourself at home and as prevention when sleeping on It regularly. So if you ever find yourself needing help at least there are options out there to try for vertigo.

Hi, I am new to this group and glad to find this group. At least, I am not alone. I have been suffering BPPV for a year. I normally went to see an ENT. He is very good and he fixed me with Epley Maneuver. But this time, even though he fixed me. I still feel dizzy when I lay on the non-affected side. Decided to see him again.

I've been having problems for about 2 years with vertigo. My head just doesn't feel quite there. My chiro usually takes the pressure off and I do fine. Mostly it is in the mornings this happens and I have the light headed feeling.
I'm going to a new chiropractor tomorrow and I hope she can help as well as my other chiro. Guess I have to wait and see.
