Dizziness & Vertigo Support Group
Dizziness is the sensation of instability. Vertigo refers to dizziness with a sensation of motion. Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. If you are a frequent sufferer of dizziness or vertigo, join the group and find support.
When you have that figured out, I would go to the family doctor. If it's something simple, they can treat you quickly. Otherwise, they can determine the best route for you to go next.
You can buy dramamine over the counter which helps to stop you from feeling dizzy. It won't stop you from "being" dizzy, it will only stop you from feeling it, but that can help you get business done until you see the doctor.
If you mean vertigo-like spinning and/or floating -- like gravity isn't making any sense -- then there's a whole lot of people here who can relate. Could be any of 300 different causes, some common, some serious. Again, a doctor's check-up is the best place to start the process of elimination. I hope you feel better soon.
Don't worry about it, there's simple remedies you can try to cure it. I tried this e-book from this site www.cureforvertigo.net/ and it worked well. I just did a couple of exercise that were in the book and within a week i was fine.
Hope you get well
