Dizziness & Vertigo Support Group
Dizziness is the sensation of instability. Vertigo refers to dizziness with a sensation of motion. Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. If you are a frequent sufferer of dizziness or vertigo, join the group and find support.
I seem to have a combo affect, vertigo, affects my IBS, which then cause anxiety...im now checking my blood sugar levels. I just want to feel normal again. I wake up feel off slight headache, nausea. Eating more protein seems to help,
I was dizzy years ago. I still get it now but not all day long. I was told it was anxiety after having various tests. I find it hard to turn quickly, I have to do it slowly. I also felt like I was on a cruise, when you disembark and your legs feel they are moving and bobbing about. I also can be affected by bright supermarkets and big spaces.
I too felt much better in a car and my doc said it was a "womb" effect in that I felt encased and safe. And when you are driving you are distracted and concentrating so the anxiety/dizzies disappears. Just thought that made real sense to me - hope it does to you guys.
It is such a bitch and does not help when no-one else has it.
Keep smiling peeps and posting.
