Hi, I started off in this group several months ago to seek advice and help regarding my dizziness / lightheadedness issues and it's been very informative. I also joined a Meniere's Disease group because that's what I was diagnosed with back in the summer of 2014. However, I'm having more thoughts that I may actually have Lyme Disease (due to various symptoms that aren't MD related) and not wanting to cause any controversies here, but has anyone else experienced other symptoms that lead you to believe it's Lyme Disease? I ask because in my experience, I've found blood tests for Lyme come back negative more times than not, and having a gut feeling that I don't have MD made me go to a Lyme doctor two weeks ago.....anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else thinks they might have Lyme disease and if anyone else has been misdiagnosed with something, like MD or DM or Lupus or vestibular migraine?
Have you tested with a glucose meter or had glucose serum readings before?
I'm suddenly learning about high blood sugar the hard way. Can definitely be a primary cause of vertigo.
