My last kiss,uuuuuggggghhhh, was when my x was still in the house and I was tolerating a good-bye kiss but it was all I could do to keep the back of my hand from my lips is a desperate attempt to erase it. When my counselor explained he was starting to do something called erotomania, I quit even letting him kiss me good bye. Erotomania - when the breakfast I cooked on Saturday, and had cooked on Saturday for 18 years, all of the sudden became a great big, special breakfast for him; when the tightly closed cold-ass kiss he got turned into a great big, passionate, I love you so much hug and kiss . . . well, it had to stop.

Hi Smilyface This is a great topic! My wife does the same thing. Not all the time, but it also bothers me, not all the time but it does. I love some of the replies here, and made me think some. I believe it can be several things - Its just one of her ways, and also I think it is the lack of intimacy. We had talked several times before she moved out of the house about our families and inability to show emotions on her side. In the 30 years we have been together, I never saw any intimacy in her family - sure a hug but nothing more. Its like it is taboo. trying to look back at those 30 years i do not know if she always wiped her lips after kissing. I know I am not a real wet kisser, but who really knows why the do it. Leaning more towards the intimacy - I am a cudler she is not so much...

My husband just started wiping my kisses off. Is that a sign of a new female in his life?

I'd give the relationship some time, 6 months is not enough to really know what you like about one another. If you both aren't going anywhere a little time won't be a big deal.
As for the wiping off the kiss- that's a bit different but not sure I'm qualified to make a judgement on it.
