Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

As for hers... I guess I kind of feel the same. I gave put that ring on her finger with those same words. I still love her, I've never been unfaithful. The symbol is still there. I honestly don't think she'll wear it but what she does with it is up to her. I don't need the painful reminder. I would not curse another relationship with whatever mojo is tied up in that piece of gold. I think Timeman may have hit it right. Pitch it in the ocean to remade into something else by the hand of God.
Thanks for everyone's insight.
Back to where it came from.
To me , our whole lives marriage, all the good and
Bad are tied to that ring and can never be changed.
She wears it now because she had it redone, but I feel
( just maybe ! ) that it will curse her. The aura that glowes
around that diamond .........and the gold will never cease to be.
In fact when I see or talk to her, I'm going to tell her.
SHE SHOULD THROW IT IN THE OCEAN.
Allready her boy friend died.......many bad things have happened
to her. I really don't want any harm to come to her.....and.....
well.....I'll tell her. She may think that I'm crazy, but that's
her choice......again.
BTW- My new wife( Going on four years now. ) has a diamond wedding
ring. Let's hope it last forever......
Take care everyone. Timeman

....or don't need the money and want to pawn it for cash.By
all means, do so.
I GOT IT........Pawn the ring and GO on an ocean cruise. !!!!
Ha ha.......
Have the best day possible.......
I'm off to the start of my long extensive dental treatment.
I'm not looking forward to it.
.....but afterward......in about 2 months.........I'll be smelling wherever
I go.. lol..

I love it, I picked it out and its all I ever wanted.
To me it doesn't symbolize the end of a marriage, but the love and joy I had at the beginning.
Its also a symbol of the love we shared, which gave me the two most wonderful kids in the world.
The wedding ring is in my safety deposit box, if my daughter wants it she can have it. I can't throw it out because it means to much to me.
Time will tell you what to do with the rings. Don't rush anything.
