Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

This just in from "The Maryland Three" -- that being jaycpea, SDinMD and myself:
On Tuesday evening, we had the great good pleasure of welcoming a new member to our DivorceCare group. As always, we passed along the information of how the three of us met here on DailyStrength and how good it has been for all of us to also meet in person.
Following our suggestion, NEWJOY77 joined this group today and we ask all of you to welcome her to our "DS Family" here. While she has NOT been married for 20+ years, we KNOW that this is the best place for her to work through what it happening in her life right now and trust that all of our friends here will do their best to lend support, render sage advice and make her laugh when she needs it most!

Just a year ago I was searching for answers to many questions. The good people on this site helped me to discover many answers and to start asking better questions. I have grown here.

You are doing all the right things and KNOW that we are all here to listen, console, cajole and sometimes give a well-placed kick in the seat of the pants. We also have been known to set off a fit of hilarious laughter at the most unexpected times!
