Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
I love it when we share songs that touch our heats (or make us laugh). So when Tinksma posted the quote of the day, I had a song for it. Hey maybe we can have a song of the day along with our quote of the day! I know I look for Tinksma's quote everyday because it usually inspires me. I saved it and want to play it everyday that I wake up.
It made me start to think (Don't know why) I'm glad that
it wasn't me who ran off........ I'm glad that I didn't lie and try to cheat
my x. Even though I had all the pain and all the crying , I still wouldn't
want to be the one who caused it. I know God is not mad at me.... He knows I didn't
do anything wrong.... He knows that I tried my best to make it work .
It's very important to me that I pleased God......... So now 5 years later
It's in Gods hands to do waht the wants...........
It's a good feeling to walk around with your head up high....
