Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
((hugs))
Last night, I reaped a reward for all the effort. I got to be the first grandparent to have two of my grandchildren stay the night:)) They're only 5 and 3, and they were both very keen to stay with this old Nanny. I've had the 5yo once before and as far as I know, my ex hasn't been given this pleasure as yet. Taking the high road pays off in so many unimaginable ways.
Just a thought - Is there someone who might go along to sit with you?
My thoughts are with you. The first few times will be tough, but it will be worth it.
love and hugs

You are hurting a bit and she is a piece of s---?
Nothing to hide there
Watch your son for his and your sake
You be there for your son
((( your son will figure that she is there for show, for her show, your son may never acknowledge that to you and that is okay, but he will know))))
Take care
I hope that we could be civil to each other after the dust would settle. We have a young teenager ourselves and I could never imagine both of us not attending things that are important to her, and being civil to each other for her sake. But I know that I am probably naive about what will happen. I know the wounds are already deep for both of us and it seems like once we start the divorce proceedings things would get uglier.
