I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

Good morning DS friends!

At 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time this morning (Nov. 15, 2012), our member jaycpea and her attorney (the Amazing Zoa!) will go into Session II of Alternative Dispute Resolution (fancy name for court-ordered Mediation) in which they HOPE to reach a financial settlement agreement.

At the close of the last session, they were very, very close. However, since then, her stbx has taken the term "Assclown" to a whole new level.

jaycpea is going to call me when the session is over, so I will do my best to keep you all posted.

So let's get those cosmic good wishes cranked up and sent to jaycpea! We BOTH appreciate it!

My heart goes out to each and everyone of you, I had Cowgirl and her attorney to help me through this ugliness. I felt all the good vibes from my DS family today. Going back to sleep now, I have defeated my Assclown finally today! Take care all, more to come from strong Jean after rest, <3

Wowwy - good for you Jaycpea! @ Ms. Terey - IMO, this is extremely appropriate post. We are all here to support each other aren't we? If you don't know who we are talking about and would like to know just ask within the post. No need for private messages. All of our stories have been told before, and probably will be again! No worries there.

I too haven't been on as much lately, but still feel like part of the "after20family".

Jaycpea - congratulations - I guess CGK's thoughts of support helped you through this tough time. Like a prayer wheel :) - The more the merrier. - doesn't matter who asks for it - just so long as it's asked for.

For everyone who was able to respond and wish her well - GOOD FOR YOU! I wish I could have made it on here before it was all over, but that's me - a day late and a dollar short.

Congrats jaycpea! I just saw this thread now but I'm so happy that you have 'defeated' (ha - love this term!) your ex! Way to go and hope you can rest easy now. Best!

    I had gone to the grocery store.  When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute.  A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked.  I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds.  But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026.  I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away.  It was an ordinary middle age...
