Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
Good morning DS friends!
At 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time this morning (Nov. 15, 2012), our member jaycpea and her attorney (the Amazing Zoa!) will go into Session II of Alternative Dispute Resolution (fancy name for court-ordered Mediation) in which they HOPE to reach a financial settlement agreement.
At the close of the last session, they were very, very close. However, since then, her stbx has taken the term "Assclown" to a whole new level.
jaycpea is going to call me when the session is over, so I will do my best to keep you all posted.
So let's get those cosmic good wishes cranked up and sent to jaycpea! We BOTH appreciate it!

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...
jaycpea just called. They reached an agreement! She is on her way home and her bluetooth isn't working for crap, so she said she would call me when she gets home.
Breathing a big sigh of relief here...details to follow.

This is a settlement agreement, correct, Not the final divorce...Would not this be better in a journal for those who know her personally?
jaycpea has not had a lot of time to spend here on DS. She is sole caregiver for her aging mother who has a lot of health issues. Most of the old-timers here remember who jaycpea is and offered their positive thoughts and good wishes for her today.
I'm sure she will post when she has had a chance to decompress. Thanks to all who kept her in thought and prayer today.
