Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group

I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

I joined this group back when there were about 30 members and that was when I was as raw as they come....I have healed and as Chrissy messaged me we have walked this path together...many of us. I will be popping in from time to time to offer my thoughts and opinions. I don't know what I would have DUN with out many of you ....and SLD! you got my number too.....but likewise I have yours....LOL There are so many that I started with that are still battling,,, I have watched you grow from crying 24X7 to strong people... surprising the hell out of your X/STBX turning into formidable foes, ones to be reckoned with.....

I have been lurking about and will continue.....I have been spending time on the Breakup and Divorce page....for the humor and camaraderie ........

So Thanks for all you support, kind words and the kick in the pants when I needed it.......

Til next time may you find peace at the end of your journey....as I have always said the is life after divorce and mine is turning out GREAT.....

We, my friend, will stay in touch. You have my email and I have yours. You were such an inspiration and support to me from day one. So many laughs and good moments, sad and painful posts and uplifting and inspiring comments between you and I.

It's hard to believe I've been here a year already and you have been right along side of me lifting me and supporting me and being the kind of friend everyone should have in their life.

You are a treasure and a man among men. Good luck with your future.....I don't worry about you anymore.

Wow, if I had seen this video first, I would have sent it to YOU! Although I was not posting on this site during my year of hell, YOU were one of the "ONES" who I leaned on. Your kind heart shined through all your posts and I am sure that was felt by all. You've been a great friend and influence here, bud. You really made a difference for myself and so many on this board. You've really been a good friend - when a good friend was needed. Yep, you've grown - moved on. I know that you're here, even though you're walking in the background now. That in it self is warming. Good luck to you, Jack. Jack, I'm so happy for you but I'm so sad for me. You have been one of the pillars that hold up this site and I often find comfort just knowing you are going to be here! But I will find some comfort knowing that you are lurking around somewhere! Best of luck to you Jack! Did you find your convertible and mate to cruz with?;)
