Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
I'll be moving back to California tomorrow and on my way to starting my new life. I am both excited and scared at the same time. Knowing you guys are on my side gives me the strength to keep moving forward. I just wanted to say thank you and I will keep you updated as soon as possible.

I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful it is to finally be home again after moving away almost fourteen years ago. The last time I was here was when my Dad passed away 12 years ago. I finally feel like I belong and feel my roots growing again.
I'm following the no contact rule now and understand how helpful it is not to have to talk with my x. I'm grateful to have made it through living under the same roof as my x during the divorce about 5 months. Not real plesant if you get my drift lol.
Thanks for suggesting the book feelingok. I'm going to get a copy asap. Hey Puter & Cow Gril Kathi I love San Francisco too. Maybe down the road, we can get up a meetup there or perhaps down here. San Diego isn't far from where I will be living and is also one of my favorite places.
