I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

They say the new year is the best time to make changes, get a fresh start, learn from mistakes of the previous year, reflect, and begin to make new promises to yourself. Now that the Holidays are over first give yurself a big pat on the back...YOU MADE IT THROUGH!!!!! and I bet some of you didn't believe you had the strength to do it right... Yet here we all are Life still goes on. So what are you going to do with this brand new year? I'm in early childhood education so we WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN!!! I LOVE MAKING LIST OF EVERYTHING I NEED TO WORK ON. 2013 can be anything that YOU want it to be. When your stuggling to just breathe during a Divorce I know the thought of having any future goals or plans for

Happy new year Disney! I'm not much one for lists in general, but I have done some of the 'work' (some are lists) in my 'help' books....The Gift of Betrayal comes to mind for sure! I agree that it's great to reflect and spend some time pondering, then writing down our thoughts, hopes, dreams. Reviewing my answers at a later time is always revealing (similar with journal entries).

Happy New Year to you, Disney! I am working on my bucket list and that's good enough for me. Onto the rest of this year, spending time on me and my interests instead of catering to a dissatisfied husband.
