It's kind of sad that not many people post anymore. I'm not crazy about the new format, but I don't have any difficulty maneuvering through it. I used to look forward to reading the many posts and gaining strength and encouragement from others' experiences. I miss that. Glad you are well.

I'm not on here much either but my business is expanding. Nine horses to take care of and all the mowing. I'm trying to plant my veggie garden between bathing horses. Don't forget the two dogs that I can't turn out together. I'm back to walking a mile everyday with my 2 year old German Shepherd. I miss everyone on here.

No...I was replaced by robots..I now am unemployed. I just started looking into retraining through EI. I'm having a hard time deciding what I want to be when I grow up..lol. Apparently I am eligible for up to 1 year to retrain...but that has yet to be seen.

I also check in from time to time. You all have most certainly helped me understand and compassionately get through some very difficult days. I want to post and come talk to my friends here and then I realize I'm 6 years out and maybe i'm just being whinny looking for drama. I can assure I'm not but even this far out i still have issues with my life, my x, and how to reinvent myself. I can relate Dairytech, i'm trying to sort through the maze too. Still a little complicated with my disabled daughter and recovery from breast cancer, but I have to look to future. Please post and let us know how everyone is doing... i love to listen and know i'm not alone, even this far out.

LisaMariB - You're definitely not alone this far out. I am 8 years from initial separation and I am still emotionally dealing with things. Overall, I'm doing fine, but effects from the divorce still linger. Like you, I feel that being so far removed from when this all began, I hate to make anything of it. I know you have alot to deal with regarding your daughter and the breast cancer. How is your recovery going?

I filed in 2006 and the divorce was final in 2007. It took another six years to get financially untangled from the ex. "Him again" had to sign this farm over to me or go to jail. I've paid off the mortgage and my truck. You guys are my friends and I check back often. I live in the boonies without neighbors and I love hearing how you all are doing

When D&S changed the site, many people left or couldnt menuver around the site . i still have a hard time. It was a shame because it was such an important part of my recovery. So many.....many great nice people that helped me. Many Ladys that excepted me ( a male). It can happen to anyone. Anyway......its so nice to hear from many old freinds...really miss all of you. At that low point in my life.......all you people were the only freinds that i had. That would listen and understand me and what i was going through. Its been a long bumpy road for most of us...still some bumps for me.. Sooooo, good health to everyone. God bless......Bob.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I was here too. I was side-tracked with what I thought was a solid relationship, but got the rug pulled out from under me this past weekend. Was into that one for 3 years - and look where I end up - right back where I was given so much support and understanding. Is this new format something recent? I almost didn't recognize it when I signed in. It sure is nice to see you all again!
