Hello My Friends!!!! Disneymom here my apologies for being absent for awhile I will make sure I stay in touch more often. I Pray that all of your journeys have been healing, heart felt, and lessons to learn from. I know for me, I have learned more about myself these past couple years now, then in all the 23 years of marriage. Most of us " old school " women were taught to put our husbands, children, and families needs before our own. If we thought of US and our wants, and needs then that was just selfish and was un heard of.
So we tell ourselves what we want is not important, OUR DREAMS DO NOT MATTER!!!! Dreams give us hope, Dreams give us Strength, Dreams give us the courage to fight for another day, Dreams can push us to do GREAT THINGS!!!! But you have to BELIEVE IN THEM, AND BELIEVE IN YOU.

When I think back on all of the Goals and Dreams I set for myself 3 years ago, when my ex ran out on his family, they pushed me to do better. Oh sure there were many days when I just wanted to give up. Wine bottle and sleeping pills never to far away. Even when people around me would say " T that's crazy you can't do that..... Now that your by yourself " " T why would you try to switch jobs now? Just stay where your at and be grateful you have a job "
I began to feel like maybe my ex was right, maybe I can't do anything, how could I have a house? who's going to pull weeds, paint, hammer fence boards??? Only a husband can do these things right? Maybe I should just stay in the apartment, easier, less hassle, no back yard to clean, who's going to hang Christmas lights on a big house, I don't even have a ladder. Yep no house for T she can't do it BY HERSELF!!!! NO HUSBAND MEANS NO DREAMS ANYMORE, HE'S GONE SO JUST SIT IN YOUR APARTMENT AND WATCH LIFE PASS YOU BY!!! Sound about right friends......

WRONG!! WRONG!!! WRONG!!!! Even though I know my family and friends wanted life to be easier for me, I didn't want EASIER, I WANTED BETTER!!! So I told them no matter how long it takes, No matter how hard I have to work, I will make the Dream of having my own home again someday COME TRUE. I mean i'm Disneymom I have to believe in the MAGIC.

Dreams become Hope, and Hope becomes Possibilities, with Faith, Gods Love, and Strength that you have to sometimes reach down deep for, your Possibilities can give you Ambition and Courage, TO DARE TO DREAM FOR THE LIFE YOU DESERVE!!!! START BELIEVING THAT WHAT EVER YOUR DREAMS ARE......
THEY CAN BECOME........REALITIES!!!!! once you get that there will be no stopping you. Some of you may be having a hard time seeing a future again with any happiness in it. Some of you may be holding on to the Anger, to the Hurt, the Sorrow, the Pain. With such a great loss, all the lies, cheating, scamming, custody battles, debt piled up, and now you have to pay off their half too. IT SUCKS!!!! Trust me I know friends. I also know that holding on to all the crap doesn't hurt them it HURTS YOU!!!! And maybe now is the time you start to focus on YOU!!! YOU ARE WHATS MOST IMPORTANT. Karma will have their day with our ex's, the universe always gives back what you put out... So for some of our ex's it's only a matter of time. Mine calls me crying a lot, what did I do..Blah Blah Blah..... Trust me give it time, time does heal all wounds, and God answers all Prayers, but in his time.
Go out tomorrow and start daring to DREAM OF A GREAT NEW LIFE FOR YOURSELF!!! Keep in touch, post it on here so we can all share in your VICTORY!!!!!!

p.s. Pulling weeds, painting, putting up fence boards, and even hanging Christmas Lights, isn't all easy, but I do it, IN MY OWN HOME, BY MYSELF!!!! Well I make my kids help, I took a lesson from my favorite Disney Princess Snow White. What's the point in having Dwarfs if they don't do CHORES!!!!
