Wishing ALL the Mothers out there a very Happy Mothers Day on Sunday. For those of us who will be spending it alone; do something wonderful. Go out with friends, family members and have a great day. We have been abandoned by selfish men who only thought of themselves and left us alone with our children. Let us not for one minute be sad on this day thinking of them and what they did to us. Let us be happier then when we were when we were with them. They are no longer part of our life. They could possibly be spending it with someone else and who cares? We could be spending it with somebody else too. I AM!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to a relaxing Sunday afternoon sitting out on the deck with a good book! Tomorrow I'm getting a manicure/pedicure as a Mother's Day treat for myself. Both of my kids live far away so I won't be spending it with them, but I'm sure they will call. I am so blessed to have them.

My x used special days as a way to show me how little I meant to him. So every Mothers Day since has been a wonderful experience. My older daughter makes crepes, the girls are planning a surprise and then I'll have dinner with my sons. I plan to take a nice long nap during the day!

This will be my first mothers day without either of my kids, or my husband. My son is a busy 24 year old living his first exciting year in New York. In the past, my husband always reminded him about Mothers Day, so I'm not expecting anything from him this year
. My seventeen year old daughter is at a therapeutic boarding school. I saw her last week, and she gave me a beautiful hone made card, which I will always treasure. She and I have had some difficult times, so it was wonderful to get a card that she had filled with sentiments like " I am here for you now and always and forever " and " you mean the world to me" and " don't be sad, be happy. "
So , I won't be doing anything on Mothers Day, but I have that card to get me through!
