I don't care what my EX is doing now much less what he will be doing on MD. I did mail the EX MIL a MD card from me.

I'm spending MD with at least two people I love. One of which is my Momma :)

I'm taking the kids to IHOP and... well I guess that's it. IHOP! yay!

I will have all three boys home (and a DIL and granddog).

My son wand nothing to do with her. I told him ...maybe a card???he said no. So I will take him out to a movie

I think my daughter is going away this weekend. This will be her second Mother's Day with baby Zoe. It's rained and I will be mowing that front field again. Mowing has become a tradition with me on Mother's Day. LOL Maybe a movie later in the day.

My Mom passed away years ago so nothing to do there.
My Son and Daughter in Law sent me a dozen beautiful roses day before yesterday and my Daughter and Son in law sent me a dozen today while i was at work, oh they look so pretty on my desk! Then when i got home there was a beaded charm bracelet with Mom written on it with a heart also from my son and daughter in law. I love my kids more than anything in the whole wide world! Sunday i'm going to bbq a rack of short ribs and take them to my neighbors for mothers day, were having a dinner over there : )
The only thing i will miss is my children actually being here but they live so far away, oh well.

That was a funny remark iquitnow. You never gave your stbx a thought cause you are not his mother. Well he is the father of your children. Probably the only good thing he ever really gave you.

I am doing the Susan G. Komen walk in Philadelphia like I have for the past 15 years. It started for my best friend who lost her mom to mother's day, then it changed to in honor of my sister, a six year survivor. Then me and my huge family will be going to a diner at 11 to have brunch. My STBX may not be with me, but I will be with the ones who love me, especially my two children. Hope everyone has a wonderful mothers day and if your mother's aren't here, they are looking down on you. HUGS to everyone.

I'm working so my son is going to make us dinner. For the last 5 years or so before our 1st divorce...my ex stopped celebrating Mothers Day because I wasnt his mother. I remember being so hurt by that. I just thought that since I was the mother of his children..he would...maybe that was a sign of things to come. Anyway...I hope this mothers day brings love and peace to us all...Big Hugs....Kathy

My EX told me on my first MD as a Mom that I wasn't his Mother so he wasn't obligated to get me anything so I can relate to Dairytech. It hurt a little, but since he didn't ever get his own Mother anything I just figured he wasn't a gift giver. I still made sure he got something on Father's Day while we were married from the kids.

Thanks for the Mother's Day wishes. My daughter is at odds with me AGAIN - this is fairly common. Since cats and horses don't know about this Hallmark Holiday, this is probably the only Mother's Day wish I will get. Thanks!
We are taking Tom's mother out for a fancy schmancy lunch tomorrow -- Mother's Day AND her 92nd birthday! Amazing woman, that Gladys. Still sharp as a tack and on her toes! I can only wish I'll be that good should I live that long.

I am going to do the me time, my son, I do not know, he never called, Daughter, I do not know, she changes faster than the wind. So it will be just Ms Mouser and I. At least I will be in good company As for that man, forget it. I do not care what he is doing. Dairytech, my sweet innocent ex said the same thing. I was really hurt by that comment. So lets enjoy that day. We are strong people and should be damn proud of it too.

My children usually make the day very special for me. They will be cooking me a homemade healthy dinner, which is my favorite. I love when we just spend time together. My daughters are 25 and 32 and both work full-time jobs as well as part-time jobs and social lives, they are very busy. Due to my fibromyalgia, I like to stay at home, have dinner, watch a movie together, my perfect day!!!

That sounds like a wonderful plan Debbie, I wish my kids lived close so i could see them.
