Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

Now, if you don’t meet with her, your poor kid may think that there was a chance and YOU didn’t want it!
Please, sit your son down and explain to him gently what you are feeling so there is no question of why you are turning down your ex’s ridiculous offer. So many people have gone back time and time again, only to have it fall apart again and the feelings your feeling right now become tenfold. Just ask the ladies here – Dairy’s one of them – she’d be a great one to ask.
Respect yourself enough, to know when to quit. Your ex is obviously messed up in the head – you don’t need her at all and you must know you can do this. If I knew her, I’d probably punch her right in the face for getting the kid involved with something he shouldn’t be - no matter how old he is. She’s a piece of work.
Keep moving forward without her. She made her choice, now let her live with it.
