I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

I know most of us will be concentrating on getting our kids stuff for Christmas and even other family members, but if you could only get 1 gift for Christmas - what would it be.

It cannot be a wish, or a dream or your stbx - it has to be something someone gives you, something physical. A real present.

Oh MFio, I want my house to sell too. I'm going to go to the store that sells the saints that you bury in the yard and it helps your house sell.

Santa, can you please just send the landlord over BEFORE Christmas to fix the oven so I can fix Christmas dinner for my kids????? I am so excited to have them all to myself all day!!!! I want it to be a special and a good memory day! Thanks Santa, but hurry! :)

I want a gift card that has enough money on it to pay the bills he left me with.. Or to Pay off my car, or pay to have the tree cut down in front of my house that will probably fall on it b4 the winter is over :)

Catholic religious goods store. You buy a "real estate" St. Joseph. Bury it in the front yard facing out and upside down. I did it - my house sold within a week - the real estate "for sale" sign never even went up! Not the best price, but definitely more than we paid for the house and in this market - wahoo. You also have to promiose to set up a devotion to St. Joseph. I read the prayer enclosed with the statue - very seriously - then, because I am not a Christian, I had a little chat with St. Joseph and asked him to intercede with his and my higher power and ask for help. My son thought I was nuts - but it worked!

all i want is my left breast reconstruction finished in 2009 finally and the strength to get to that point where i'll feel whole again.
and to stay cancer free and be able to do my important work that i love so much,
to help support my house and 4 dogs

and to learn to be happy again,

I would like a plane ticket a month to go visit special people in my life. Oh yeah, and while we're talking about special people, I want a DS gettogether that all of us could attend and spend the weekend together, all expenses paid, to give and get support and love.
