Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
So, tomorrow open enrollment begins for Obamacare. At the moment, it looks like I won't be eligible for the tax credit, which means that "affordable" care really won't be any different than what I have now through my husband's employer. Almost the same at COBRA!
So, I emailed my attorney and financial planner to find out exactly WHEN I need to enroll as our settlement STILL is not done. Our insurance is good through Dec.31st. But husband says I will need coverage beginning right when the divorce is final. Haven't heard back from attorney or f planner on this quite yet. Don't want to sign up any sooner than I need to for Obamacare. Not sure what to do. Any thoughts?

dairytech, we do not pay for healthcare in Ontario. Iammine is right. In 9 months I will be an official geezer so all the meds are covered.
