I am a 48 year-old woman whose husband just left after 25 years of what I thought was a happy marriage. He was having an affair with a co-worker. He's only known her for four months, but he wants out of our marriage ASAP. I wanted to try for a reconciliation, but it was horrible. It was the worst I have ever been treated in my life. He was always so loving. My 16 year-old son and my 20 year-old daughter are devastated. He always promised that he would never let anything come between us as a family. I am lonely and although my family is sympathetic, they live about 6 hours away in different directions. This is going to hurt us financially, and there are a whole slew of other things I am scared about.
