Wow that's tough..she is obviously not thinking..she will lose her job. I m not sure what I would do. Maybe try and talk to her if she is willing. She's not just hurting herself. But putting many others at risk. Yes we all did stupid things as teens but she's an adult and even worse works for the school. If nothing else it will eventually get out anyway. Kids talk . I think you need to think about the danger she's putting the kids in.

Let it be. Every kid above the age of 12 has an iPhone. Pictures and/or video was captured at the party without question. They will surface on some kids social media and a parent will spot it. Tip off the om's opponent in the school board race.

I agree with everyone else, don't contact her. Your ex is continuing to be her own worst enemy. Since you are no longer married, it's not your problem. It's sad that your son was affected by her actions, making him feel embarrassed and uncomfortable when he was informed of her shameful behavior. Her actions will come back to haunt her without you doing anything.

Forget it! Verbal confrontation with the ex will unlikely resolve any needed corrective behavior. Neither of you are your ex's authority. PERIOD!

Certain institutions require their employees to conduct themselves reasonably off the time clock as well. The school board may require those who are patrons to an event, to at least inform the proper authorities so that INTERVENING can take place. Standing by doing nothing does not give one a free pass! Proof showing identified under aged individuals having access of alcohol in their hands and displayed drunkenness is serious business for the adult host . If there was no actual criminal harm or damage occurring in financial costs, they'll more likely sweep it under the rug and just slap her hands.

I have to kind of disagree. What if she loses her job? Would she be able to support your kids? Are any living with her? I would worry that losing her job would put your kids at risk. Maybe not, and if the answer is no, that I would forget about it. Otherwise I may email her she is risking her job. Maybe she knows but a good swift kick in the butt my remind her.

Maybe I didn't make my topic clear enough. I wasn't planning on contacting my ex, I was wondering if I should talk to another board member about this. I got my answer anyway, I'm glad I asked before I did something I'd regret. Thank you everybody for the help.

You weren't there and didn't see the situation first hand. Therefore, if you present this information to someone else, it is going to be considered gossip. I agree, this one is not something you should even get involved with. She will be exposed in due time if something is truly amiss.

Yes it is scary, but is sounds fishy to me. Let your older son talk to her. It will fall on deaf ears if you do and she will pull some stunt again like the restraining order. She isn't your problem now. She has made her choices and will have to live with those choices. It will be obvious to everyone why you are no longer married to her if she's doing these things.

I agree with PsiChi, for now it's gossip and if you notified anyone, it makes you appear to be the bitter EX.

I do not think anyone has mentioned my first thought.. what makes you think this is even true? You are getting your information from an 18 year old who had an underage drinking party! I hope you are not talking or complaining about your ex wife to an 18 year old at your job? If you are going to make accusations about someone or call a school board member, make sure you absolutely, that is what happened! Why not ask your ex wife outright if you are so concerned? What about the kid who had the party? Are you at all concerned that he is having underage drinking parties? Would you call his parents? In this state, and most, you are liable if underage minors drink at your house!

Unless your ex is endangering your minor kids if you have any, this is not your concern. If she is embarrassing your older child at 22, he has to deal with that. You have no control over your ex, and she has no control over you. For some, after a divorce, they become over involved with what an ex is doing or not doing. No contact!
