As wise Cowgirl Kathi often says, "If you don't play the game, the game is OVER." Do not respond to any texts. Yes, as one poster put it, she is baiting you. My ex and his skank ho/now wife do similar things and always do not receive the response they are hoping for. They too want a "demon" they can blame--your ex is doing the same thing.

As far as the court papers, claiming is one thing, proving is quite another. It is doubtful that will go anywhere. A one-time occurrence texted a long time ago is not going to mean much, especially if she didn't do anything at the time. Sit tight, go no contact, and let your lawyer handle it.

As Ms. Terey often says, "No response is a response." No matter how much you may want to say something, simply say nothing. That in itself will drive her crazy. If you don't rise to the bait, she has no one to fight with.

I hated to drag this thread up again, but today we went to court on the ex parte. I was feeling good until I saw her sitting there and then everything went crazy. When I tried to talk my voice was so shakey It was pathetic and I looked at my hands and they were shaking. I'm not usually like this, I guess it was just seeing her and all the emotions hit. The judge was actually easy on me because when I found out about the affair, I went crazy and text some threats. I know and my ex knows I would never and never did hurt her. That wasn't the point of this though, it was to make me the bad guy. I fell into her trap and I learned a valuable lesson. The judge just gave her a 6 month order of protection and said the school did not apply so I could go to my boys games and graduation. The judge told me my wife may very well be what I called her and that divorce is terrible it's like a family member dying. She said she could tell I was taking it bad, I never thought somebody could see that. I guess I got lucky and got A judge thats been on the bench awhile. But I will not play the exs games again.

Hi, I'm not new, but I haven't been on in a while and although I do not really know your story, it's pretty basic for liars and betrayers to project their stuff onto you. To demonize you to everyone to make themselves look good. Just take the high road, and remember - whatever comes out of her mouth is more of a reflection on her than it is on you, although it probably doesn't feel like that right now.
