Tylenol

Does anyone know if you can take Tylenol with Metronidazole? I think you shouldn't take Advil.

I have been told to take Tylenol during a flare up while taking Metronidazole (Flagyl).

I have also been told to NOT take aspirin, ibuprofen, or any of the Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) during a flare up.

I have also been told that people with diverticular disease should try to minimize or avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, or any of the Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) between flare ups. That they could be contributing to or aggravating the problem those with diverticular disease have.

How many and what drugs are you prescribed usually?

I'm on Metronidazole along with Cipro. I'm feeling better now, but it sure takes a long time to feel "normal'. I am hoping that will happen soon. I am a volunteer at an animal shelter and I do so much walking with the dogs. I want to get back to walking.

How many days? 10 days? I'm on those too 250 of Cipro and 500 of the other you?

Originally I was only given a 7 day supply. But after reading everything on this website I see most people take it longer. My episode this time is more severe than last time so I asked for a refill. The last thing I want to do it get it again as soon as I'm done with the pills. I am on 500mg Cipro and 500mg of the other. But it takes soooo long to get better.
